The antenatal clinic

The practice has a full antenatal and postnatal service provided by our midwife, Julie Harris. Your care will be shared between the midwife, the doctor and the hospital. The antenatal clinic is held on Wednesday from 9am. First appointment needs to be booked through the reception then Julie will ask you to make another appointment when she feels you need to be seen again.

Family planning services

The doctors and nurse provide advice on all types of family planning.

For emergency contraception advice you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Cervical smears

All women between 25 and 50 should have a cervical smear test every three years. Between the age of 50 and 65 you will have a cervical smear test every five years. You will get a letter reminding you when your smear test is due. You should make your appointment to see the Practice Nurse about halfway between periods.
